October

October is our often our hottest month, however some years we also get rain.  In 2010, we had both.  Summer annuals and tropical plants continue to look great and fall blooming perennials are starting to put on their show.  Roses also have their last blooms of the season.  With a little planning, you can have a very colorful fall garden.
